These are some really great tips for anyone looking into remodeling or rejuvenating their bathroom. I have had the hardest time finding good storage options for my small downstairs bathroom, but that standing shelf unit actually looks really nice, I may have to try to find one like it. Thanks so much for writing, I’ll be referring back to this as I move along with my design.
A luxury walk-in shower creates a nice roomy feeling for your bathroom remodeling project. The lack of obstructions provides a seamless transition from the rest of the bathroom into the shower area. Not only is a walk in shower safer, especially for the elderly and children, it also works perfectly for those who desire a relaxing minimalist bathroom style.

Want another idea? Find three cool, vintage tin cans. Drill the tin cans side by side into a 2 foot piece of old plank. Then, drill the plank onto your bathroom wall (pictured below from laissezfaire). You now have a super cool way to store bathroom necessities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs and brushes, and Q-tips. You can even keep fresh flowers in one of the cans!

Focus on durability. The surfaces and fixtures will likely get lots of wear and tear, especially if children use the room. Plastic laminate flooring and countertops are durable and inexpensive, plus the kids likely don’t care if they have high-end materials. As for fixtures, you still want high-quality construction, including all-brass parts and a PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish that resists scratches, but go with basic chrome, rather than pricier nickel or bronze. On the walls, choose an interior paint that resists mildew.
The master bathroom is quickly becoming one of the most popular getaway rooms in the house. People are incorporating high-tech options like mirror-mounted mini televisions mounted and MP3 stereo systems in the shower. And spa elements—including showers that double as steam rooms, Jacuzzis and decadent soaking tubs, mini-bars and warming trays for towels—are all common master bathroom ideas nowadays. Here are some tips : Using all one material for clean simplicity, but it can be porcelain or ceramic tiles instead of marble or another expensive natural stone. Don’t forget the little luxuries, such as fresh flowers, wonderful soaps and body scrubs, scented candles, and a few super-fluffy towels. Be sure the colors are natural and soothing blues, greens, and gold are perfect. Harris also suggests other touches of nature: a window garden or photos of the mountain getaway of your dreams. What I am doing is trying to get estimates on how much it would cost to put in a half bath, not improve what I already have. It is in my bedroom with the utility room on the other side of the wall. None of your questions said anything about a new bathroom so I couldn’t answer them. Sorry I want to get an Estimate and you were recommended to me. Thank you Geri
The best bathroom remodel ideas can sometimes be easy bathroom remodel ideas. There are small bathroom updates that make an impact without much effort or the remodeling cost of a contractor. New light fixtures can be installed quickly to brighten a dim room and create a design element. Toilet paper holders and matching towel bars can replace dated fixtures. Even different shower curtains can spruce up a bathroom space in minutes.

Using the ultra-trendy animal skull as a main focus point, this space definitely stands out from the rest of the usual white and boring contemporary bathrooms. Notice how the tiny, delicate bare branch echoes and contrasts the strong antlers on the wall, and how the pendant light hangs right in the middle of the negative space provided by the antlers.
